What the 2025 Ram 1500 Offers

A New Engine 

The 2025 Ram 1500 comes with new entries in the Hurricane family of engines. These engines include the 3.0-liter Hurricane and the 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight Six Turbo (SST). The Hurricane is rated at 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, the Hurricane H/O is rated at a hellacious 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. Also available is the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 eTorque. 

These engine options give the new Ram 1500 a maximum towing capacity of 11,580 pounds, a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds, and an ability to withstand 24 inches of water fording.  

New and Returning Trims and Features 

The Ram 1500 brings back the following returning models: Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, and Limited Longhorn. But, it also introduces a new model: the Tungsten. 

The Ram 1500 Tungsten comes with an all-new power tailgate, a premium LED taillight design, and a contemporary R-A-M badge. It also has an Indigo/Sea Salt Interior, which features new platinum patina/semi-bright dual-textured metal accents, as well as heated and ventilated leather front seats with a massage function, memory settings, lumbar support, and four-way powered headrests, and much more. 

While the new Tungsten trim has incredible features, the other trims didn’t get left behind. For example, the Bighorn/Lone Star features a new Gridiron paint with laser-etched accents on the doors, dashboard, and console. Similarly, the Laramie introduces an optional Bison Brown/Sea Salt Gray interior along with the standard Black interior. The Limited Longhorn is available exclusively with a Bison Brown monochrome interior and massaging front seats. 

Overall, the Ram 1500’s interiors are as sleek and comfortable as ever, and each trim is designed with its own distinct personality to enjoy. 

Advanced and Innovative Technology 

The 2025 Ram 1500 offers a wealth of technological features, including the following:

• The most advanced Uconnect system ever, which offers faster processing speeds, many connected services, and an intuitive user experience. Drivers access this system through either an improved 12-inch or a new 14.5-inch touch screen display. 

• Active Driving Assist, which is a Level 2 (L2) automated driving capability that helps pave the way for more cars that practically drive themselves around the streets near Destin, FL and beyond. This system centers the Ram 1500 in the lane and has adaptive cruise control, but drivers must have their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road to use it.  

• Hands-Free Driving Assist is a Level 2+ (L2+) automated driving capability. It offers hands-off driving at all speeds and lane centering on approved roadways. This system also verifies that the driver is paying attention to the road and resumes control after driver override, along with predictively slowing the car around tight curves. 

• A digital rearview mirror with tow mode provides an unobstructed rear view of and behind the vehicle, which improves the truck’s visibility and safety. Drivers can quickly and easily toggle between the rearview mirror setting and the rearview camera setting by toggling a small switch beneath the mirror.
